Will Fulcrum-DS work with the software our school system is already using?
Fulcrum-DS is compatible with many existing software systems, including NC-Wise, SIMS, and USDDC. In addition, interfaces have been written to enable Fulcrum-DS to work with mainframe systems.

What do we need in order to be able to use Fulcrum-DS?
Is your school system networked? That's all you need. We can provide the web server or we can use one of yours.

How much will Fulcrum-DS cost?
There will be an up-front fee for customization which will depend on how many modifications are required and on the size of your LEA. There will also be a monthly License and Maintenance Fee for ongoing support services. In the past, school systems have funded Fulcrum-DS through the Information Technology, Student Services, or Security departments.

How does the installation process work?
Fulcrum-DS is a complete software package, but every school system has unique needs. Fulcrum Software will interview several of your administrators to determine what modifications are needed, so that we can customize Fulcrum-DS to meet your exact requirements.

What technologies does Fulcrum-DS use?
Windows Server OS, Apache, PHP, and MySQL. Dial-up or VPN to PCAnywhere/Citrix/GoToMyPC for remote support.
